Microsoft Battles Out Hackers with Upcoming Patch

With the vulnerabilities found in Microsoft's products. The company has planned a launch for a new patch this coming August 14 to cover up the holes where hackers can manipulate.

The patch will cover updates on SQL Server, Office, Microsoft Server, Microsoft Developer Tools, Windows, and Exchange. Mainly, it will fix a bug that allow remote code execution where hackers are able to install malware without any permission.

“In the most severe case of Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 and Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, it is possible under certain conditions for the vulnerabilities to allow an attacker to take control of the server process that is parsing a specially crafted file.“An attacker could then install programs; view, change, or delete data; or take any other action that the server process has access to do,” Microsoft said.

The update for at least 14 bugs will be expected Tuesday this week so Microsoft users should be aware of the upcoming update.
