AMD Dual - Radeon HD 7990 comes out this July

With the release of the GTX 690, pure GPU performance is totally ruled by this Nvidia powerhouse; however, its going to get some performance battle with the upcoming release of AMD's dual gpu, Radeon HD 7990. AMD Dual - Radeon HD 7990 is rumored to be released this month of July.

The Radeon HD 7990 will be competing Nvidia's GTX 690 through pure performance and price. It will feature two Tahiti XT Videocards and memory of up to 6GB to 12GB (in special editions) GDDR5. Well, Radeon HD 7990 is obviously higher in bandwith compared to Nvidia's GTX 690. It also beats Nvidia through its new technology, Turbo mode. However, we will be finally be able to distinguish the difference once we are able to get a hold of Radeon HD 7990.
